So, you wanted to learn more about me?

I am a partner, writer and lover of life. That last part is a bit cliché, but it’s true. There’s just so much in the world that brings me a great deal of happiness. First and foremost is my soul mate, Jenn, who puts up with a lot and has for nearly 15 years. That’s a long time.

Seriously. I need to go buy her something nice.

I love telling a good story, whether I am sharing my own or somebody else’s in my capacity as a journalist. Everyone has a story to tell; it’s just a matter of learning what it is. That also means I love listening.

And boy, a few of my friends can talk. You know who you are.

I love my dog and her heavy snoring by the side of the bed at night. I love photography and the click my camera makes when I press the shutter button. I love video games, gadgets and tech, and I lament the fact I could not have picked more affordable hobbies. I love the Ninja Turtles.

I just love. Period. Heck, this blog was inspired by the amusement I get from fortune cookies. Hence the title, “Good Fortune.”

Which makes me realize, I’m hungry.
